Newly
reformulated AMSOIL P.I. (Performance Improver) provides unsurpassed
fuel economy and performance. Today’s fuels vary in quality and
additive treat levels. Although a certain level of detergent
additive is required by law to be formulated into gasoline, cost
restrictions cause refineries to use low quality additives in the
lowest additive concentration (LAC), a level insufficient to prevent
deposit accumulation. As a result, deposits accumulate on fuel
injectors, intake valves and combustion chambers, often within just
a few thousand miles, disrupting spray patterns, affecting
electronic sensors and causing a multitude of problems.
The newly
formulated AMSOIL P.I. Performance Improver is the most potent
gasoline additive available today. As a concentrated detergent, it
is unsurpassed in cleaning combustion chamber deposits, intake valve
deposits and port fuel injector deposits, eliminating the need for
expensive fuel injector cleaning procedures. The product is ideal
for use prior to emissions inspections. It also helps maintain peak
engine efficiency, fuel economy, power and drivability in newer low
mileage engines. In engines with accumulated deposits, testing
showed AMSOIL P.I. provided the following clean-up benefits after
only one tank of gasoline:

Usage
Recommendations: Treat one full tank of gas every 4,000 miles or 100
hours of service. One bottle treats 20 gallons of gas. Do not
treat and run more than 40 gallons of gas per treatment. P.I. helps
pass emissions tests. Treat gas, run that tank and fill up again
prior to test. Safe for use with catalytic converters, oxygen
sensors, oxygenated gas and 10% ethanol blended gas. Ideally, P.I.
should be poured into the tank prior to filling it up with gas, but
it will mix thoroughly when added after fill-up through normal
agitation from driving.
Diesel
Additive Product Description
AMSOIL Cetane Boost Additive improves diesel fuel quality that
benefits all diesel engines, especially high performance designs.
Supported by extensive testing and years of field trial use, AMSOIL
Cetane Boost Additive has repeatedly demonstrated its ability to
improve diesel engine performance. High performance diesel engines
operate best with cetane values of 50 or higher.
Recommendations
Recommended for use with all types of heavy- and light-duty, on- or
off-road and marine diesel engines. Best performance is achieved
when used with every new tank of fuel. Excellent for use with Ultra
Low Sulfur Diesel fuel (ULSD). Compatible with biodiesel and all
types of exhaust emission systems such as diesel particulate filters
(DPFs). (Although high concentrations of biodiesel decrease the
benefits of AMSOIL Cetane Boost).
For best results with up to a seven point cetane
increase, add one oz. of AMSOIL Cetane Boost per five gallons of
diesel fuel (one bottle to 80 gallons). For up to a three point
cetane increase, add one oz. per 10 gallons of diesel fuel (one
bottle to 160 gallons). Excellent for use with AMSOIL
Diesel Concentrate and AMSOIL
Cold Flow Improver.

TBN Longer
With high rates of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) in modern diesel
engines, acids from combustion are of particular concern. AMSOIL
Diesel Concentrate neutralizes acids during combustion. It helps
reduce acid caused cylinder wear and helps extend engine oil TBN,
maintaining engine oil quality longer for better protection.
Minimizes Soot Loading
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate is a powerful cleaner that cleans fuel
injectors and piston rings for improved combustion and better

helps keep soot out of the crankcase. Reduced soot loading controls

Fuel Stabilizer

Separates Fuel and Water
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate is an alcohol-free product that protects
fuel systems against water contamination. It helps prevent
fuel/water emulsions and it protects metal against rust. Water can
be drained easier and fuel filters are less likely to plug, ensuring

Heating Oil Improver
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate provides many of the same benefits in
heating oil furnace applications. It provides fuel oil storage
stability, water stability, rust protection, fuel oil filter
longevity, and its exceptional cleaning properties are expected to
keep fuel oil nozzles clean for proper spray in the combustion
